Kiyotsune

This is traditional Noh Play written  by Zeami.  After 'Taira no Kiyotsune' ( Taira is family name of Warrior and Kiyotsune is the master of the last period of  this family)  has drowned himself at Yanagiga-ura following his defeat there, his retainer 'Awazu no Saburo' returns to the capital with a lock of Kiyotsune's hair which he left as a memento for his wife.  When she receives this and grieves over her husband's untimely death, the ghost of Kiyotsune appears and tells of the battle in which the Taira were defeated.  ( quoted from "A Guide to No" written by P. G. O'Neill, Hinoki Shoten)
